Age, Page, Number

AGE, PAGE, NUMBER
It’s just a number; my age
Age is just like a page
And life is the book
Sometimes life is so fast some pages are flipped without a look
Turning over new leaves and new chapters, the ages keep counting
We can’t get any younger, just older but we can get low like a valley or rise high like a mountain
Judging by the age
Forgetting life is only a play and we’re all just puppets on a stage
The strings pulling me up at one stage will only bring me down on another
And where I fall, a new will be born and more troubles for a young mother
You can’t stop the ageing
Or the flipping of pages
But you can choose a number that will be you and yours forever
1 – To distinct and mark you as special and unique and the never saying never
