I Miss You

I kept my thoughts in my mind
You thought took me to be deaf, dumb and blind
I miss you now that you’re gone
I finally found myself and can move on

I miss you
By the time you finish reading, you’d see my poetry is polished too
So much for foreplay, with or without it, we came to the same destination, on the floor
Let’s try wordplay now, maybe we can get a line as good as ‘Oliver asks for more’

When this began
I thought you erase my pain all in one
I miss you like I never have
Yet I don’t want you around me cuz it’s not love

It did get boring but I followed you like Paparazzi
But that’s all in the past now like Osofo Dadzie
I was your dull and you were my hype
I was your fun and you were my type

Took me 5 years to settle with you
Now 5 verses each for every year and phase of our relationship and I’m struggling to get to the point
I’m just trying to be extra careful even though it’s a simple message from me to you
The 4th verse missed the I miss you line but that’s not how I miss you, I miss you more, that means you’re no more my missus cuz now we’re disjoint
