Justice

I was sitting in a Criminal Procedure class the other days and it got very interesting as we started talking about rape and murder. Till that point I was only writing down my personal salient points and largely facebooking and txt-chatting.

Man crosses the street without looking to his left or right and is hit by a car but doesn’t die and falls in the ‘path’ of another which runs over his head. Now who killed him? Witness starts with in my opinion and he’s blasted. But seriously, how do we find justice here?

Murder in Ghana, woman warns friend’s mother to tell her daughter (woman’s friend) to stay away from her husband. Since the affair is still ongoing, the woman confronts the old lady again and this becomes heated and she pushes the old lady hitting her head against a wall and the old lady dies. The trial goes on for 5 yrs during which the ‘murderer’ delivers a child but ends up in jail anyways. In my opinion, the husband is the murderer but that is just not justice.

Yes I had intercourse with her. It wasn’t the first time, she’s my girlfriend. How can that be rape when she was half-naked when I entered the room?
